In the second quarter of 2024, the top five Travel and Local apps on the Android platform in Brazil showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared:

Airbnb saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from about 44.3K in early April and reaching nearly 90K by the end of June. Active users also trended upward, growing from approximately 614K to 678K over the quarter.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus experienced a relatively stable download rate, with numbers hovering around 42.8K to 52.7K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a positive trend, increasing from approximately 1.43M in early April to 1.53M by the end of June.

Decolar: Voos e Hotéis maintained a consistent download rate, ranging between 37.3K and 49.3K. Active users saw a slight decline, starting at around 560K in early April and ending at 511K by the end of June.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel showed a moderate increase in weekly downloads, which peaked at approximately 42.8K in late June. Active users fluctuated but generally increased, starting at around 1.67M and peaking at nearly 1.79M in early June before stabilizing at 1.73M by the end of the quarter.
